Bonded Cord Strapping and Bale Press Strapping without Difference

Bonded Cord Strapping is made from polyester yarn combined with hot glue. It does not have the cross-weaving of woven polyester ropes, but consists of polyester fibers glued together. It can be tied or secured with steel buckles, which can be galvanized or phosphated depending on the application type. This strapping is widely used for its strength and durability, from agriculture, wood, and glass industries to packaging corrugated paper and plastic recycling.

Bonded strapping, otherwise referred to as hot melt strapping, has many advantages over conventional manually applied products such as steel straps, metal banding, rope, plastic straps and stretch film. Compared to these products bonded strapping is applied in a faster, safer and more cost-effective way.The bonded strapping can be joined by a simple knot or used in combination with buckles, tools and tensioners, providing the most dependable joining systems. The strapping can be tensioned using manual or pneumatic tension tools.

On the other hand, Bale Press Strapping is specifically designed for packers. It has a special structure and material that allows it to withstand the working pressure and friction of packers. Its design aims to provide stable and durable strapping during the packaging process to ensure the safety and stability of items during transportation and storage.

Bale Press Strapping is polyester strapping with a reduced outer coil diameter to fit bale presses.This strapping will not tear or fray and can be re-tensioned with heavy duty steel buckles if the product settles or moves in transit. It has a higher break strain and system strength and can therefore be used on heavier loads.

Therefore, although Bonding Cord Strapping and Bale Press Strapping may be similar in some respects, they are not the same product. The former is a versatile strapping material suitable for a variety of applications, while the latter is a special product designed specifically for balers.
